The Carbon Neutral Symbol is available under a Creative Commons Zero (CC0) licence.
- There is no cost (do not pay anyone to use it)
- You don’t have to credit us or anyone else
- You can modify it if you wish, to better match your brand
- You can use it commercially
So that others recognise the Symbol, we recommend keeping any modifications minimal. You might set it in your brand colour, for instance, but avoid changing the shape.
Guidelines
Please only use the Symbol to reflect honest, genuine, effective carbon reduction and offsetting activities that align with the Symbol’s meaning. Wherever you show the Symbol, include a link that allows others to verify your claims.
Much like the universal recycling symbol, the use of the Carbon Neutral Symbol isn’t verified or policed. If you truly care about the planet, take real action and use the Symbol to show it. If you only want to greenwash, no one can stop you.
